What we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and how to make us delete it.

Short version: we collect what you type into our forms so we can help you, we share it with clinics only when you ask us to, and we never sell it. The longer version follows.
bookcolombiamedical.com is operated by Scout Theory LLC ("we", "us"). For any privacy question, contact andy@colombiamedical.co.
When you complete the quote form, the contact form, or the short form on our 404 page, we receive: your name, email address, WhatsApp or phone number, the procedure and city you selected, your indicated timeframe and optional budget band, and any notes you choose to write. If you message us on WhatsApp, we receive your message and the phone number you send it from.
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location at city or region level, device and browser type, and how you arrived. This is aggregate traffic measurement. Google's own privacy terms apply to that data.
We do not ask for and do not want medical records, diagnoses, test results, insurance details, government ID numbers or payment information. Nothing on this site should ever be used to send us that material. If you send it anyway, we will delete it.
We share your contact details and stated procedure with clinics and providers in Colombia when you ask us to arrange a consultation or quote. We share nothing before that point, and we tell you who we're introducing you to.
We also use service providers to run the site: Google (Analytics and the Apps Script endpoint that receives form submissions), our hosting provider, and WhatsApp for messaging. They process data on our behalf under their own terms.
We do not sell your information, rent it, or add you to third-party marketing lists.
Enquiry records are kept for as long as needed to help you, and typically no longer than 24 months after our last contact. Ask us to delete your record sooner and we will.
You can ask us at any time to show you what we hold, correct it, delete it, or stop contacting you. Email andy@colombiamedical.co and we'll action it — usually within a few days, and without asking why.
Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under laws such as the GDPR, the CCPA, or Colombia's Ley 1581 de 2012 on personal data protection. We apply the same deletion-on-request standard to everyone regardless of jurisdiction, which is simpler for all involved.
This site uses Google Analytics cookies for traffic measurement. We do not run advertising pixels or retargeting tags. You can block cookies in your browser settings without breaking anything on this site.
The site is served over HTTPS and form submissions are transmitted encrypted. No system is perfect, so please don't send us anything sensitive — see "What we do not collect" above.
This site is intended for adults. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted information, contact us and we'll remove it.
If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the revised policy.
